
Dr. Zach Howard
Dr. Zach obtained a Bachelor of Arts with specialization in Kinesiology from the University of Western Ontario in 2013. He then attended the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and graduated in 2018 with his Doctor of Chiropractic with Cum Laude distinction. He has furthered his education by taking the Thompson Seminar Series, integrated seminar series and has received a certificate in clinical acupuncture. Dr. Zach has also completed his level 1 TPI certification.
Dr. Zach has had experience treating an array of patients with both acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. He has a particular interest in geriatrics and in treating athletic populations of all skills and incorporates current, evidence-informed treatments in order to minimize symptoms and optimize health and performance.
Dr. Zach was raised in Blenheim, Ontario and recently moved to Owen Sound in June 2018. Growing up Dr. Zach spent most of his time playing sports specifically hockey, football, and ball hockey. His love for chiropractic started when he was 8 and injured his neck playing hockey and after a few adjustments his neck pain was alleviated.
Dr. Zach is married to Dr. Rachel, who he met at chiropractic college and together have two little ones and a dog named Hatty. Dr. Zach enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, playing golf, and hockey and watching his beloved Leafs. He also enjoys downhill skiing and is looking forward to spending more time on the hill.
Dr. Zach personally believes that it is important to take care of ourselves to prevent sickness and disease and this is why he gets regular treatment and stays active. He is looking forward to helping the Owen Sound community achieve their health goals.
Dr. Zach is a licensed member in good standing with the College of Chiropractors of Ontario.
Dr. Rachel Howard
Dr. Rachel obtained a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo in 2014. She then went on to study chiropractic at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and graduated in 2018. She has extended her education by taking Thompson seminars, Integrated seminar series and is anxious to continue her learning with more seminars and reading.
Dr. Rachel is second generation chiropractor. She grew up working and learning from her parents in their home-based clinic from an early age. This is where she gained an interest in having people reach their fullest health potential. Dr. Rachel has a special interest in treating the pregnant and pediatric population. She is certified in the Webster Technique.
Dr. Rachel grew up in Mississauga and recently moved to Owen Sound in June 2018. She always knew she wanted to live further away from the big city as she enjoys hiking, the great outdoors and a more relaxed way of life. She still likes city conveniences and this is what drew her to Owen Sound. Dr. Rachel is married to Dr. Zach, who she met in Chiropractic college and together they have two little ones and a dog named Hatty.
Dr. Rachel enjoys going for walks, spending time with her family and enjoying the outdoors. Dr. Rachel is looking forward to becoming part of the Owen Sound community and helping the residents achieve their health goals.
